Club Championships 29th & 30th October

**Stop Press** The editorial team have just learnt, and are pleased to announce that there will be a hotpot meal after sailing on saturday for a paltry £5 served around 5pm, and our ver faithful social committee will be hosting a Halloween party in the evening **as you were**

Another Champ at DSC!

2011 is certainly going to be a year that Kim McMullen remembers for all the right reasons.  Still beaming from her long time better half finally doing the decent thing and getting down on one knee to propose, Kim has just managed to get crowned the 2011 Dart 18 Ladies National Champion.

Kim has been training hard all year for this as the photo below shows, so please all join us in congratulating her success, very well deserved!

Club Championships. Now Two Days! Now October 29/30 October

Our commodore proudly announced at the weekend that the club championships date would change this year to take advantage of the very large tide at the end of October, and this years championships would be held over two days.

Dart 18 Training

With the Dart Open less than 2 weeks away we are holding an informal training session on Saturday 9th April at the club to provide an opportunity to brush up on skills.

Ian McLean and Simon Moruzzi will aim to set some on the water exercises and provide feedback and suggestions.

The session will start at around 1200 with some attention on rigging and getting suggestions for for what to focus on whilst afloat. Following a quick briefing we aim to get on the water for 1330 and we will have water available until around 1630 as needed.

Dart 18 TT Series GP2

Dee Sailing Club will be hosting the second round of the Dart 18 TT Series on the 16th and 17th April.

The club will be open on Friday for anyone arriving then. The bar will be open and food will be available in the evening.

Breakfast will be available on Saturday and Sunday morning and there will be a BBQ after racing on both days.

Entertainment on Saturday evening with local band Bad Wolf.

Camping will be available on site.
