Sunday 26^th June Commodores Cruise to the Hoyle Bank (Long Distance Race will happen if weather is suitable) RIB lifts to our boats an hour after high water. – And the race happened with ten Cruisers competing out past Hilbre to HE3 and then return to HE4 and burgers and beer. – a great day out back at DSC 7pm.

Saturday 2^nd July DSC Regatta This is the only race of the year for which there is a fee payable, we had six cruisers entered last year and ten this year, a fine outing.

There was sailing on the tide every Sunday when the tide was right but this year there was so much adverse weather we did not manage as much as usual.  October came and the small cruisers started to retreat for the Winter to storage either on the Club’s grounds or in the local Heswall boat yard so that by the end of October the moorings were empty of members boats – sad but roll on next year!

Two Winter work parties for the fleet, work on our own boats and our annual cruiser meeting  to post mortem this year/plan the next and a number of social events at the Club, the next six months will go quickly.
