Fast Cat Handicaps 2006 (Draft)
These handicaps are based on the ISAF SCHRS handicaps, adjusted to take account of each helm's sailing experience. They should only be used for scoring the Fast Cat fleet races. The objective is to level the playing field for newcomers, so that they can climb the results table early in their career. In order for the Effective Handicap to be applied, the named helm is required to helm for the majority of races in a series and must notify the Fleet Captain of this intention before the series starts.
Note - these handicaps will be reduced as the helm gains experience; you will need to learn and apply new skills!
