Mono Hull Fleet Captain Chilling Out

Just to prove that Dee SC covers the whole spectrum of the Sailing experience .
In contrast to the Fast Cat Captain contemplating a tropical paradise here is your erstwhile Wayfarer Captain" enjoying " the delights of Bala Lake on the 28th Dec in silly Christmas hat .

A dedication to Tegid ( voracious monster lurking in the murky depths of the lake - not Animal !) was made by way of a mince pie. Hail , snow , rain and the onset of frostbite encouraged an early retirement.

A Prosperous New Year.

Photo Print Scheme

A photo print scheme has been proposed enabling DSC club members to purchase printed copies of images that have been published on any of the DSC website galleries. An A4 print of an original digital photograph at full resolution on glossy photo quality paper will be charged at £7.50 to include post a packing. All profits will go to club funds. The scheme will be reviewed at the end of January 05. Remember that all the images that appear on this website have been compressed and do not retain their quality when enlarged. Prints will be made from the full resolution originals. Contact webeditor with details of your selection.

Fast Cat Fleet Captain in Aruba

Pictured above our very own Fast Cat Fleet Captain poised on the beach ready to launch. After a disastrous first day sustaining damage to his spinnaker pole, his starboard hull and his crew a full day was spent repairing and fettling. A lesser web editor would probably attach the caption of 'DSC Fleet Captain admiring his new pole'. No we do not sink to cheap jibes on this family website. However I have it on good authority that in the picture above Ali hugging his mast and was heard muttering 'I weally weally wuv you'.

Aruba Report with pictures planned for Christmas Week.
