5 Sept

DeeTour to Wales, Summer 2005

North West Wales was invaded by a youthful contingent from the DSC, intent on wrestling more silverware from the Oppy & Mirror fleets. They achieved fanastic results in the national competitions and also appear to have had a fun-filled summer in the sunshine.

In the Junior Fleet Optimist Nationals (136 entries) Cameron Douglas came 11th and Michael Moruzzi 21st.

In the Mirror Week (70 entries) the results were:
Cameron Douglas and Charlotte Brown - 12th
Michael Moruzzi and Alex Douglas - 17th
Jonthan Harris and Megan Wilson Morgan - 38th

I think those 'Desparate Dads' from the Wombaf competition, and few other parents around the club, have cause for concern - and not a little pride.
