Catamaran Training

So that's how you get past a Spitfire!

Don Findlay ran a very successful training session for the Fast Cats last April and was rash enough to offer to come back. We have taken Don up on his offer and have arranged another Cat Sailing training session for this Sunday, 26 June. This session is open to all Cats in the club, and will be relevant to everyone. Last time we learnt a lot about equiping yourself for a positive approach to the race, boat handling, and a focus on preparing for the Start, which is where many races are won and lost.

We expect to get on the water at 2pm, with a briefing beforehand at 1pm. You will need to be rigged beforehand.

Please email Simon Stannard to confirm your place - and yes, Darts of all sizes are very welcome to attend (as well as the Fast Cats of course). Numbers will be limited to eight boats, so please get in touch early, as four places have already been confirmed.

The cost will be a nominal £2 per boat. The training is worth ten or twenty times as much!

"My boat went much faster as a result of the first Fast Cat training" Simon Stannard, Happy Cat Sailor.
