Thames Adventure

Our Mono Hull Fleet Captain Quentin Jones has kindly shared some photos from his most recent cruise. As simple as that, write your story, att some pictures and email to Editor There is an award each year for the best cruise report posted.

The accompanying email from Quentin is as follows.

Have attached a few pics of last weeks trip- starting on the non Tidal Thames, to as far as the 8 hour ebb would go. 3 days 2 nights - You could call it "A Pink Bridge Too Far" - 13 bridge shootings up, not so many back as I began to risk it through the centre arches with the mast up - only tickled Hammersmith. Show me the photos!

The correct answer to 'how far did he get'? - gets the first " Small Boat Cruising" Trophy (also known as the Buckit and Chukit cup)! A date for the diary - the first Dee SC Dingy "Cruising Sunday" of 2005 will be on the 10th April. On the Sand at around 11.00 BST and destination will be weather/wind dependant, I shall post details nearer the day.
