Whombaff Challenge

Ladies and gentlemen of the Dee Fleets

May I invite you to join a team or two in the pursuit of the Annual Whombaff, in a thrilling team race event against the rest of the club.

To take place on Monday 1st August at the marine lake between 6.30 and 8.30 pm in hired Laser Picos. Keep an eye on the Bulletin Board for updates.

Everyone who can swim is welcome to come and have a go, as it's really not that serious. Team racing consists of short single lap races for teams of three boats working together to defeat the opposition.

So you'll get around ten races which means excellent practice at making good tactical starts, so it's not only fun but good for your Sunday racing.
