Crews Available

I often hear that some members are staying at home because they lack a crew. Our Open Day showed that there are very many people who are interested in sailing and would relish the chance to crew. The attendees included families, teenagers, experienced sailors and novices in all shapes and sizes. Interest varies from wanting to get a boat, to crewing on cats or even yachts and dinghies.

We also have a page on the website that allows interested visitors to register themselves on a public Crew List. This too has started to fill, with a dozen or so names there already.

There are plenty of crews available, so don't stay at home wishing you knew someone to share your boat with. Call someone on the Crew List (click here), or for additional names club members can request a list of Open Day attendees by emailing the webeditor.
