Dee SC ? Racing Marks ? LBSA fleet

MIDDLE DEEP ? For some time the three-barrel racing mark, Middle Deep, has been taking on water and is now listing badly. It is difficult to identify from any distance especially in confused seas. A new single barrel orange mark has been placed in the approximate position 53: 20.531:(N) 03: 11.467: (W) which lies some distance away from the existing three-barrel buoy. As of today the three-barrel buoy has been removed and the new mark will replace the old three-barrel mark at least until the end of the current season.

LIME WHARF ? This mark has recently dragged. It has now been moved to the following approximate position. 53: 21.096: (N) 03: 10.615 (W).

The co-ordinates given were taken from a GPS unit to hand at the time the marks referred to were laid. It is always possible that tidal conditions may result in subsequent movement.
