Monday Evening Dinghy Sailing

Here is a brief report by Pete Clements on Monday night's dinghy sailing on the lake.

Monday 7th May saw 5 boats take to the water, Ian McLean in his Phantom, Mat Pollock also in a Phantom, Pete Spedding in his Laser EPS, Mike Johnson in his Laser and Chris Black and Jonathan Harris in a Laser 2. Despite the strong winds racing started and the book opened on who would fall over first!! Two races took place with a few retirements after some spectacular capsizes. Most people ended up swimming but pleased with themselves, even Richard Stacey who only went along to watch!!
So next Monday grab a dinghy and come down to the lake and join in the fun!
