Dart 18 TT Circuit at Royal Yorkshire Yacht Club

Round 7 of the Dart 18 TT circuit reached Royal Yorkshire Yacht Club at Bridlington where 14 boats saw Saturday's first race start with F2-3 fluctuating south-westerly winds.
After rounding the windward mark first, Marco Manganelli & Jonathan Harris maintained a reasonable lead to the finish despite a fight back from Matt Exon, who finished 2nd from Geoff & Jenny Lloyd in 3rd place.
Race 2 saw a general decision to beat inshore out of the tide. Marco lead again at the first mark but Will Thompson & Zander Ozelton giving chase took 1st position after almost handing it back to Marco on the final run before out pacing him on the short beat to the finish line, Andy & Jay Round 3rd.
Race 3 saw plenty of place changes due to the increasing winds with Will & Zander taking a more convincing 1st, Marco & Jonathan 2nd and Matt Exon 3rd. An evening of good entertainment followed!
Sunday morning saw 28 knot south-westerly winds and following plenty of beach-side deliberation and with the forecast of more wind, the remaining races were cancelled. This meant an event win for Marco Manganelli from Stokes Bay crewed by Jonathan Harris from Dee.
