Just Visiting?

Welcome to the Dee Sailing Club and our website. Please feel free to look around the website for the information you need - the menu at the top of each page will direct you to areas of interest. To save you time, here are some links to the sections of the site that you may find most useful:

Location - including directions and a map

Contacting the Club - Flag Officers and General Contact info (Address, Hiring, Membership)

What do we sail? - Fleets info covering assorted yachts, catamarans and dinghies. These details include the names of the Fleet Captains, as your first port of call if you want to know more. By all means, just drop in!

Can you join in? - Of course you can, whether you'd just like to give it a go to see if sailing is for you, or if you have a boat but just need a safe place to keep it and a charming set of people with whom to sail it. We offer training and racing for Juniors & Youths, from their first steps in an Optimist, through Mirrors and on to Dart 16 catamarans. Opportunities often arise for teenagers to crew aboard the faster catamarans in the full club racing programme.

What do you need to know? The basic sailing information gives you the foundation knowledge for sailing at the Dee.

When can you visit? - We are an open and friendly club, keen to encourage new members. If you would like to visit us, the best times would normally be on a Wednesday evening from 7:30pm, or when we are sailing (several hours either side of the published Start Time in the Sailing Programme), or at an Open Day or Event (see the Events Page).

Joining the Club - We like new members. If you like us, here's the info on Membership fees and an application form.

Local Accomodation - visitors to our events can usually camp at the club. If you prefer a roof over your heads, this tourist info should help.

Hiring the Clubhouse - perhaps you are not a sailor at all and just want a venue with a view for a birthday..
