It’s not long now until the Kindred Clubs Regattas (formally the Liverpool Boat Show Regatta) and it promises to be a great weekend of top quality multihull racing on the water and nautical festivities on the shore.
We have a number of visitors coming from all over the country and the club needs to be well represented both on and off the water. Secure storage will be provided at the iconic Fort Perch Rock in New Brighton where your cat can be left from the Thursday before the regatta securely. Fort Perch Rock is also providing W/C and changing facilities as well as tea, coffee and beers. Our visitors to the club for the Dart Open are also welcome to leave their boats at Dee ready for the regatta to save them trailing them home again. Yesterday Colin, Bert and I where down there with the sun shining looking out of the fort across the Mersey to the Liverpool Skyline and where (as locals) struck with the amazing venue we have to sail.
It really is important to get as many of our club boats on the water for this event, as Dee has been one of the driving forces behind this event and should be providing the largest fleet
