Getting Started

Anyone who has a boat, or is considering getting a boat, will be warmly welcomed at the Club, whether you already know how to use it or not! We recognise that everyone has to start somewhere and may need some help along the way. Members are always willing to offer help and advice that will enable you to get on the water. One to one training can be given on an informal basis to suit your needs (for dinghies and catamarans).

Contact the training officer in the first instance to arrange for one to one training – let him know what boat you have or plan to sail, and what help you need, and he’ll pair you up and get you going.
