Wirral Star Party

Saturn taken by the Hubble Space Telescope, NASA

Dee Sailing Club will be hosting Liverpool Astronomical Society for their Wirral Star Party on the 9th March. The event will run from 1900 to 2100.

Dee Sailing Club is well placed for viewing the night sky as there is minimal light pollution from street lights and buildings.

Come and be inspired by the wonders of the night sky. View craters on the Moon, Galaxies and deep sky objects. There will be talks about astronomy,
Telescopes outside to look through (weather permitting) and experienced amateur astronomers on hand to give advice and guidance.

The best bit is it is all free!
